Fiona Grady’s work is based around systems, which she uses as a means to investigate ideas of process and the artists touch.
In Suggestion III, Grady has allowed it to take control of the image. By printing layer upon layer the screen has picked up traces of previous lines and transplanted them; as dictated by a simple numbering system.
These marks indicate that something else is at work, subtly hinting the artists touch within a mechanical printing method.
