Untitled ♯4 is the forth work in a series of ongoing performance based work, under the umbrella title ‘I don’t really do painting’, researching solutions to the artist dilemma of negotiating ‘the blank canvas and the enormity of its potential’.
We Are All In This Together, and the very nature of the ‘open submission’ provides one such solution by permitting the canvas to be taken off my hands, once posted, and in turn allows the primary issue of dealing with a blank canvas to be sidestepped altogether.
